Abul Asad

<p>Abul Asad was born on August 5, 1942. He is a renowned journalist, essayist, and columnist from Bangladesh. For over four decades, he has been serving as the editor of the <em>Daily Sangram</em>.</p><p>His name will be written in golden letters in the objective political history of Bangladesh, covering the period before and after the partition of 1947. Two of his remarkable books on this subject are <em>Eksho Bochorer Rajneeti</em> (A Hundred Years of Politics) and <em>Kalo Pochisher Age O Pore</em> (Before and After the Dark Twenty-Fifth). Additionally, his short story collection <em>Amra Sei Se Jati</em> (We Are That Nation) in three volumes, which highlights the glorious tales of Muslim history and heritage, and his essay collection <em>Ekush Shataker Agenda</em> (Agenda of the 21st Century) have been widely appreciated by readers.</p><p>His most celebrated literary work is the <em>Saimum Series</em>, which has profoundly inspired thousands of Bengali-speaking readers. The series has played a crucial role in preparing the youth for the pursuit of truth and beauty. The powerful character <em>Ahmad Musa</em>, created by his pen, has become a heroic figure in the dreams of countless readers. So far, 64 volumes of this series have been published, and <em>Saimum Samagra</em> (Compilation of Saimum), consisting of 60 volumes compiled into 12 parts, has been published by Guardian Publications.</p>
